Phuket Trip

You always need a trip after too much frustration freelance works. Thailand is always a nice tourism destination and going with bunch of friends are even better.

I just came back from phuket island. We took Air Asia package and that including the flight (not including the RM50 tax on thailand side) and accomodation+breakfast. We depart from LCCT on 29 May for 4 days 3 nights.

First Day
  • KLIA
  • LCCT
  • Hotel Check-in
  • Fantasea
Second Day
  • Phi Phi Island
  • Thai Massage
  • Dinner with Beer
Third Day
  • Jungle Bungy Jump
  • Patong walk-around
  • Local Night Market
  • The Last Dinner
  • Banana Club
Forth Day
  • Back to Malaysia

KLIA
KLIA Transit
I asked fzyee to fetch me to the KLIA at putra jaya in the early morning when she is going for her class at LKW. I just wait for few minutes and the train arrived. I seldom took transit to the airport as most of the time i travel the other way down to KLCC.

Searching for Prepaid card
When i arrived at KLIA, friends called me and asked for my help to purchase prepaid card. According to them, you can only make and receive call in Thailand when ur prepaid amount is more than RM60. A big air port but getting a common 012 prepaid is damm hard... last found it in a botique.

Way to LCCT
Finding the correct path to LCCT wasn't easy too. Luckily the info counter there were helpful. Getw into the bas at the basement and it was quite empty.

LCCT
Indian territory
Not that I am racist, but i saw lots of indian there.. McD, Taxi drivers, service counter, waiters, casher.... Maybe the same reason why you see chinese all around on Genting.

Expensive food
I waited for my friend inside McD, ordered a Sunday Cone at 70 cent more expensive than normal price... Asian kitchen are worst... their chicken rice sucks more than those in cyberjaya (which i used to think they are the worst). I should learn from jeff ooi, I should brought my tapao food.

Getting up the plane
Forgot to mention that that was the first time i went to Thailand, and also the first time I took the aeroplane. Thanks to Air Asia: eveveryone can fly now! All my friends were excited as well and thus we have the following photo:

On the plane
First time fligth experience... but i don't feel like writing it much... not very special ... budget fligth ma... But we have some photo here that shows we were not that sad.

View outisde the windows were pretty.... but i have seen alot fromGoogle maps...

Phuket
It is faster than taking bus back to hometown. After an hour, we hav reached phuket international airport. On the way to our hotel, the drivers bring us to one of their travel agency. They provide all sort of activities booking services.

Most of us have our own plan in mind and did some pricing research on the net. It was surprisingly that the price they give is much cheaper than direct booking... still dun understand why.

Hotel Check-in

I shared a room with lawrance while staying in the same hotel together with Choy and Chern Chew and Poh Lee. The hotel we stay, le la wa dee Hotel, is located in patong beach, but quite far from the sea shore.

This hotel have little facility but with very nice room.

Fantasea
We have booked the Fantasea ticket, a must watch shows for all new phuket tourist. I heard about it through my gf's uncle, which is an experience tour guide.

The local described it as the Thailand Disneyland. They provided first class transportation to pick us up from our hotel. And the package we purchased includes dinner buffer.

All workers there smile all the time. Their guard are friendly and none of them will ignore the tourist despite of their job positions.

It is definately the best place to kill all your film...

Too bad we cant bring camera into the theater, and this is the picture i can from their promotion website. The show itself worth the money, and you can hardly see this kind of things in Malaysia.

Phi Phi Island
It is one of the most beautiful resort centers in South East Asia. The jungle covered cliffs dive strait down in to the aqua marine blue of the Andaman Sea. The snorkelling shallow water coral reefs are 15km long and the deeper diving reefs surround the rest of the islands less than 20 minutes away.
Quoted from a tourism website. Phi phi island is definately a beautiful place. However, i still think Perhentian and Redang island is better... probably environment there have been distroy by the previous tsunami.

This is a half day trip. Again, transportation come to our hotel at 8 in the morning and fetch us to the jeti. We then depart from the jeti with moderate sized motorboat.

depart

blue blue sky

hoo, follow the winds

big rock as background

everywhere have banana and pepsi

wah..so heavy...

e..where you looking at...?

Oh... pretty girl!

Cheryn hav better luck as she get to see topless... but mine is sexy too~ hehehe

cheer~

yeah! time to go home

Thai Massage
We then went for thai massage after back to phuket town. It's located in a hotel and that was my frist time too :)

This is the traditional thai massage and the boss claim they hav the most original one. Well, it's healthy one, not that kind of erotic massage ... hehe

The girls that massage me is a local and she can speak little bit of chinese. I had a nice chat with her and she is age 36.

9 of us open up all the partition so that we can see and chat with each others. My roommate, Lawrance, experience his virgin touch by the female there. He cant control himself and keep laughing......

Dinner with Beer

Then, we look around for food in patong. Realised their beer damm cheap. 7-11 sells RM3 and the restaurent sells around RM6-8.

I told myself i must have one and i did. But then i feel very tired and sleepy and thus missed the Patong night life at Bangla Road.

The road runs perpendicular to the beach road towards the northern end of Patong. Bangla is only about half a kilometre long so its easy to walk around and bar hop. It can seem quite seedy and you might want to keep the little ones away to avoid any lengthy explanations later, but it's also a fun and safe place.
Bars in Patong can be largely divided into:
  • beer bars (naugthy)
  • à go-go bars (naugthy)
  • pool bars
  • sports bars
I am a naugthy guy so i will just intro those naugthy bar.

Beer Bars
These are usually just a small bar with a few stools. You can have a beer and play games or chat with the ladies working in the bar. Popular games include connect four, jenga, dice games and backgammon. If you like the girl and enjoy her company you can buy her a drink for which she earns some commission.

Ago-go Bar
They can be found in the sidestreets leading off Bangla Road. Girls in these bars dance on stage wearing nothing more than a bikini, or even less depending on the bar and the local authorities. Nudity is prohibited by Thai law although shows with nudity can be found. The girls may talk with the customers when they are not on stage. They are not owned in any way by the bar and its up to them if they want to spend time with a particular customer or not.

Other than Bars, there are Club (Banana Disco) and Nice Music.

What my friends (names should not reveal here to protect them :D) visited are this a go-go bar that called Tiger Entertainment. Hot and Sexy gals dance in bikini on stage along the pole and customers can freely place 50 batt under their cloths.

After few hours sleep, my room mate came back in drunk and singing, showed me his camera where this 'a go-go' girl taking photo with him. He then told me one of my friend actually gave 100 batt to the girl and he eventually became the spotlight of the night. He too told me that this friend are not back to hotel yet (he staying single room alone) ...

Thanks to Carlsberg, the night is still young but I was aslept.... (i am not that naughty afterall)

Jungle Bungy Jump

The next day was an exciting day for me. Yes, it is
bungy jump day!

Luckily I found Chan Chong was back. He was the only one among the friends that dare to go bungy jump together with me.

We get a tuk-tuk from patong beach and after negotiation, the driver agreed to fetch us at the rate of 100 batt (2 ppl, go and back, and he even wait for our jump).

The one we went to was Phuket jungle bungy jump. It cost around 2000 batt, included 1 jump, 24 photos film (you gotto develop yourself!), Tshirt, certificate and Insurance.

You can choose to touch the lake water or not. For couple, there is even a couple bungy jump.

Here's the Photo and step 1 2 3....

The experience is awesome. I wish to do Reverse Bungy Jump next time.

Patong walk-around
Yeah, I admit that it was a boring afternoon after back from bungy jump. Me and chan cheong walking around the patong town and then the beach, try to get a deeper experience of this place. We went into 7-11 (found the beer is cheap), souveniour shop (bought something for my mum), walk around the beach (looking for papaya and eventually found an old one), sidestreets (saw alot and alot of massage center), and even christin massage.

Christin Massage
Hmm. I wish to write down more about christin massage. The building is pinky and huge located right in the center of the city like a high-lighted tourism spot. I am sure all phuket tourist will be as curious as us of what it is all about... yeap, even kennysia.. here is a quote from his blog and i will just let him do the description:

Ohhhh.... Christin Massage. My mistake.

So I happily entered the building, hopped up the staircase and then OMG!

What I saw was ROWS AND ROWS of scantily-clad heavily-made-up ladies sitting behind a huge glass window smiling and waving at me. KNNCCB. This is not a massage centre! I just walked into a friggin' BROTHEL!!!

http://www.kennysia.com/archives/2006/04/sex_sleaze_and.php
Me and Chan Cheong 'accidentally' went into the building too. We saw what kennysia saw. The pimp with cynical face
(just like those you saw in those movie!) gave us a dog eye after gave us brief explanation on the pricing.

This is really that kind of place for very naugthy person. I am just average naugthy so i just walk away....

Local Night Market
We then visited this night market (Pasar Malam in Malaysia) that located infront of our hotel. Things are damm cheap (sells in non-tourist price) and delicious.

I was then stopped by this stall that sells natural food. 10 batt for every scope. I bought some maggot and grasshopper (highly recommend!) and this is the first time I eat such things.

no worry, it taste much delicious than what it seem to be

The Last Dinner
This is the last dinner for us in Phuket. 9 of us meet up and went down for this restaurent at the end of the sidestreet.

Food are so so there and they are not cheap... All the singles are excited as they are looking forward for some interesting night life. I join them as well as I would really love to experience the 'bangla road'.

Banana Club
At the end, we din't get to go to Bangla road as those who went refuse to go for a second time. We then choose Banana Club for its popularity. I wasn't that happy at first as it was not what i expecting.... But life is always out of our control, isn't it true?

I meet devil and angel in that night... none of them is better in compare to you. As you never wanted to listen to my story, I will not further reveal.

Back to Malaysia
It's tired but definately worth it. Thanks for the trip, my friends and take care in future.

I love you, phuket and I will come back again.
